See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts — to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship. — E x o d u s 3 1 : 2 – 5

Dear Artsy Jesus, It’s so neat to see that you have given each of us different gifts. Inspire us today to create all kinds of work for your kingdom to show the world that you are the Master Inspirer of creative works. Amen.

    For sure. I try to encourage that thinking when other people tell me that they have no gifts.

    Thanks! I love this! I’ve been struggling lately with my creative giftedness and the worldly pressure that artsy stuff isn’t “practical” (i.e. doesn’t make you any $$$). I know that if God is calling me to create, I need to do it. But its hard to shrug off the outside pressures to be “successful”.
