Answered Prayer

Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. — D a n i e l 1 0 : 1 2

If you’re waiting for an answer to prayer today, please know that Jesus already heard your prayer and has sent a messenger to help. Don’t let the delay fool you. There is a spiritual battle taking place for your soul, and the good news is we already win.

Wash Your Hands

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. — P s a l m 2 4 : 3 – 4

Your trials may not be from Jesus but instead are a direct result of living in sin. If that is true, Jesus said to wash your hands and come to him for help (see James 4:8). Allow him to forgive you and cleanse you.

Get clean and go, sin no more!

Where Does Your Help Come From?

I look up to the mountains — does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! — P s a l m 1 2 1 : 1 – 2 ( n l t )

Renna, 23, said that as a single mom, “Stress is an unfortunate term, mostly that I don’t have enough help and feel there is no support for what I do.”

Blessed With A Burden

When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. — N e h e m i a h 1 : 4

Sometimes we have an opportunity to bless others with our burdens. As Christians, we are commanded by Jesus to love and help one another. Don’t let your burden or your position in life keep you from expressing what’s really going on inside.

A Perfect Peace

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! — I s a i a h 2 6 : 3 ( n l t )

When I rely on myself, I’m never peaceful. I take Jesus at his Word when he said we can have perfect peace. Not a peace that fades or can be faked, but the real deal.
