Everywhere
I look, I read the word “mountain!”
Whether it’s in my quiet time with the Lord or on a devotional I read
online-it’s there!
As
I was praying on what to share in my first ministry letter to you all, the
verse God impressed on my heart to share came from Zechariah 4:6-7. It says,
“This is the word of the LORD to [Renee]: 'Not
by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. What are
you, O mighty mountain? Before
[Renee] you will become level ground.”
The
above verse encouraged me to trust in Him, which is one of my values for 2010.
This new ministry cannot be forced or sold. It is a work of the hand of God
over time. Walking through this process is a dream come true for me, but it
definitely has not come without a price.
I
gave up a wonderful job that I loved so much at Outreach. I had the pleasure of
booking nationally-known speakers and comedians while helping pastors plan
events at their church. Reaching people for Christ has been my family’s motto
and mine. Since I was seven they
have been faithfully serving the body of Christ as full time workers.
When
I started going through all of my health issues of jugging a full time career
and writing my first book I knew that it was only a matter of time before God
would call me too.
Now
that He has our full attention, I am being faithful to follow the individual
call God placed on my life so many years ago to preach the gospel of Christ
through writing (and speaking).
Please Pray
* Book: My book will be
released March 8, 2010. Pray that it
will touch the lives of many young people to grow in their daily walk with
Jesus.

Speaking: For several speaking
engagements in the first quarter of 2010.

Prayer: For new prayer partners to
continue to pray me through this transition. I will be emailing a monthly prayer letter updates so you

ministry name on your check. I
will be glad to mail to you a MMI Donation Card for Devotional Diva and reply envelope
so you can begin your financial support through MMI. To download the MMI

Check by online banking: If you bank on line, you can create a new Payee account for
Mountain Movers International and make “Devotional Diva” your account
number. You will need MMI’s mailing

3. Credit
Card or Pay Pal: Go to the
