Kiel, Germany: Kieler Woche! #DivaTravel

As I promised on Instagram (not following the Devotional Diva Instagram? Follow this link or search @devotional_diva), I’m sharing photos from trip to Germany! This is going to have to be broken down in to more than one part. Too many pictures! Here, I’m just talking about our time spent in Kiel for Kieler Woche (Kiel Week!) It’s a huge sailing festival and it was a ton of fun. Here’s a glimpse at our adventure.

Today I’m sharing some photos from our trip to the French Riviera, specifically Villefranche-Sur-Mer! Oh, it was so beautiful. I loved it. What an easy-going vibe. I definitely hope to return someday!

If you didn’t know, we are military family currently blessed to be living in Italy. We are exploring Europe and I’m taking lots of pictures along the way to share on Devotional Diva!

Churches Around the World: Zagreb, Croatia

assumption3In March, we had the opportunity to visit Croatia. It was truly a blessing. You can check out my posts “A Beautiful World” and “Croatian #littledivathings” if you would like to see some pictures from the trip!

Obviously, Europe is chock-full of beautiful churches and history, and I feel like it would a disservice if I didn’t share some of them while I’m out here! This is the first installment in my NEW “Churches Around the World” series (I mean, really, just Europe for now, but maybe SOMEDAY I’ll go farther than Europe!)

One of the two churches we visited in Croatia was the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Zagreb. The other was Our Lady of Trsat Church in Rijeka, Croatia. I felt much more of an impact in the Trsat church as it was so intimate and I just found it more beautiful, but I sadly couldn’t photograph in there! I’ll always remember that church.

These, however, are photos from the Cathedral! It is a lot larger and grander than the Trsat Church, and is in fact the tallest building in Croatia!

Since we were there at Easter time, there was a beautiful egg display outside the church!

An Italian Vineyard #divatravel

My visit to an Italian Vineyard

Hey Divas! Living in Italy, we are blessed to have opportunities to travel and see things we never would have before. A few weeks ago we visited an Italian vineyard and farm and I wanted to share a few photos with you from the trip!

A Beautiful World!

As I mentioned in my last post, we recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Croatia! Any travel is a blessing in my book, but this trip was especially cool for me because my grandfather was Croatian.

We had a great trip, and I wanted to share some pictures with you. My favorite place we visited was Plitvice Lakes National Park. It’s the most gorgeous place I’ve ever seen, seriously. There are waterfalls everywhere! Just stunning.

It really made me realize what a beautiful world we live in, and I’ve just barely scratched the surface of seeing it.
